The new Dr. Hyatt and Aspen's 1st Birthday

Jacob graduated this last weekend with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Northern Arizona University. We cannot believe he is actually done because the time went so fast. I could not be more proud of him. He has worked so hard the past few years and finally gets to enjoy a night with no homework!! Way to go J!!

We got to hear a surprise performance at the graduation banquet! I'll have to post the video soon, it was awesome and Jacob had us all rolling. Got to check it out.

Oh how fun, she just turned ONE!!! Aspen had a luau birthday party and loved opening her presents and having cake. My sister and her boyfriend Ryan definately won for best dressed! We had so much fun celebrating and Aspen loved all the attention of her big day.

Princess Hyatt #2

The secret is out! Jacob and I are expecting another little girl on August 30th! We are both so excited to meet her and can't wait for her arrival this summer. Two little girls. Two little princesses. Twice the pink. Twice the fun.

Happy Easter!

What a blast Easter was this year! Aspen loved all of her presents from the Easter Bunny and has been playing with her new toys all week. She has four teeth now, but the very top two are still missing......... guess she will continue to look like a vampire until they come in! The past few months with her have been my very favorite! She is learning so much and tries to mimic lots of words we say. She is very close to walking, but no steps yet! Jacob took these pictures of her on Sunday.

Our 4th Anniversary

This past month Jacob and I celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary. It is amazing to me how fast the time has flown. It seems like last year that Jacob moved to Vegas with me to finish my school. It's truly been a whirlwind from there to Flagstaff and finally back here to Mesa. We are so excited to be back home and are anxiously awaiting Jacob's graduation in May! He can't wait to practice PT and finish his 7 year journey. I am so proud of him. He amazes me more everyday with all that he is able to accomplish. Me on the other hand, in a days time I manage to do so little. Maybe a load of laundry, a quick errand, a cooked pot of soup, and I'm spent. He somehow finds time amidst all his school, homework, his internship, and church calling to surprise Aspen with things like her very own waterpark for Christmas. I'm not kidding, it is awesome! It is a mix of pvc pipe, sprinklers, waterfalls, fountains, cups that spontaneously dump water, etc. all around the bath tub. She absolutely loves it and will spend hours on end playing in it. What an incredible and creative mind he has. I cannot thank him enough for all he does for our sweet little girl and for me. I can't tell you how many times I've come home from work to find that Aspen has a clean diaper, had her bath, has been fed and is all ready in her pajamas with dad reading stories before bed. He just gets the whole dad thing, he's a total natural at it. I am so blessed to have such a wonderful husband. I have loved every minute of our four years of marriage and I look forward to seventy more! I love you honey. Happy Anniversary!

5 months old

Life is so much fun with this little baby. She is becoming more and more aware of her surroundings and of course wants to put everything in her mouth. She has screaming contests with herself lately, each time trying to make an even louder or higher pitch sound than the last. She is not sad or angry, just happy to scream as loud as she can. Bystanders in the store will say, "She is really upset isn't she!" they are always surprised to find her smiling in her car seat just tickled to death. She is such a goof! These pictures of her are from the last month and our personal favorite is her blue steel.
