RIM2RIM

The Grand Canyon at Sunrise

Our friends from the valley invited us to join them in hiking the grand canyon from North to South Rim (24.1 miles). It was quite the adventure.
Sunny and I standing at the South rim waiting for the 5 hour shuttle to the North Rim. Sunny wanted to ensure that no UV rays entered her eyes and so she bought the largest pair of sunglasses she could find. You can never be too safe!

Looking over the edge at the daunting task ahead of us!

The pictures came out amazing and I'm sure that they don't capture the beauty of the canyon in its entirety. It looks like it was a great hike and you're are even smiling after 24 miles...you guys are awesome.
