Gardening in Flagstaff

We got an early start on the garden this year. In fact, it was a little too early. We got the garden in mid May thinking that we wouldn't have anymore freezes, and ended up having a few more snow days in June. Crazy huh? Snow in June!!! Anyway, the garden is thriving and we are looking forward to a good harvest of snow peas, cucumbers, tomatoes, basil, zucchini, yellow squash, and strawberries. This year is the first year we have ever done strawberries or basil. Both seem to be doing GREAT! Come see us sometime, and we will share our grand harvest with you all...

A couple weeks and you'll be out there in overalls and a straw hat, whistling a sweet tune.
Honestly...the garden is looking solid and we cant wait to hear about the first harvest.
