The girls and I spent a week in Carlsbad, California camping on the beach with my family while Jacob was on a week long boy scout trip hiking Mt. Whitney. We were both in California the same week, but miles apart from each other, so weird!! I celebrated my 26th birthday. McKinley turned 1!!!!! She is starting to talk a little bit and is starting to walk on her own. Aspen has discovered her imagination. She loves to make up all kinds of stories and often has us rolling!!! Jacob was drawn for archery elk and went on his hunt with my Dad last month. He had a blast, but no luck this year. We have enjoyed many home improvement projects and are excited for my sister Shelby's wedding this weekend!

Happy belated birthday! I can't believe McKinley is 1 already - it sure goes by fast, huh? You're girls are adorable - Ken especially likes their cute 4th of July headbands/hair; (he wishes I could do more things like that with Amelia's hair :) Sounds like you guys are doing great and having fun.
