McKinley Jan Hyatt is Finally Here!!!

July and August at a glance

-Aspen is talking a ton and learning new words everyday

-We bought our first home in Mesa, AZ

-Jacob started work with Spooner Physical Therapy in Scottsdale

-We went on vacation for a week with Sunny's family to Carlsbad, CA

-Sunny's brother Mason left for his mission to Toronto Canada West

-Sunny is 40 weeks pregnant and awaiting baby #2's arrival

Sisters

I think every girl that has a sister couldn't possibly imagine life without them. They are the simply the greatest, most honest, and loyal friends a girl could ever ask for. I love my sister. She and I are 17 months apart and I think we both wouldn't have it any other way. I am so excited for my two little girls to have each other! I hope little Aspen enjoys all her adventures with her little sister as much as I did. Don't get me wrong, I remember we had our share of fights as I'm sure my girls will at 16 months apart, but we eventually worked it out. She always had a way of making me laugh, even when I was angry. I am so grateful for her. I am so excited to have this little baby and I hope they will bring each other as much happiness as my sister has brought me!

The new Dr. Hyatt and Aspen's 1st Birthday

Jacob graduated this last weekend with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Northern Arizona University. We cannot believe he is actually done because the time went so fast. I could not be more proud of him. He has worked so hard the past few years and finally gets to enjoy a night with no homework!! Way to go J!!






We got to hear a surprise performance at the graduation banquet! I'll have to post the video soon, it was awesome and Jacob had us all rolling. Got to check it out.

Oh how fun, she just turned ONE!!! Aspen had a luau birthday party and loved opening her presents and having cake. My sister and her boyfriend Ryan definately won for best dressed! We had so much fun celebrating and Aspen loved all the attention of her big day.

Princess Hyatt #2

The secret is out! Jacob and I are expecting another little girl on August 30th! We are both so excited to meet her and can't wait for her arrival this summer. Two little girls. Two little princesses. Twice the pink. Twice the fun.

Happy Easter!

What a blast Easter was this year! Aspen loved all of her presents from the Easter Bunny and has been playing with her new toys all week. She has four teeth now, but the very top two are still missing......... guess she will continue to look like a vampire until they come in! The past few months with her have been my very favorite! She is learning so much and tries to mimic lots of words we say. She is very close to walking, but no steps yet! Jacob took these pictures of her on Sunday.
